Emma Stone, Halle Berry, Kate Winslet, Hugh Jackman and a slew of other stars have surrendered their reputations, and maybe their careers, to Producer Peter Farrelly for his hilarious new comedy “Movie 43.” A new red band trailer provides a glimpse of the raunchy insanity.

The film takes just about every social taboo, turns it on its head and has the actors play it out. In all, the movie has 12 different story lines and 25 short segments.

Farrelly, Patrik Forsberg, Elizabeth Banks, Steven Brill, Steve Carr, Rusty Cundieff, James Duffy, Griffin Dunne, James Gunn, Bob Odenkirk and Brett Ratner each direct segments.

Farrelly was about to sign up about half of Hollywood to play a role in the picture. They include Chloe Moretz, Josh Duhamel, Johnny Knoxville, Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Richard Gere, Anna Faris, Justin Long, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Terrence Howard, Jason Sudeikis and Gerard Butler.

Also making appearances are Kristen Bell, Uma Thurman, Seann William Scott, Kieran Culkin, Leslie Bibb, Jimmy Bennett, Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, Kate Bosworth, Patrick Warburton, Tony Shalhoub, Chris Pratt, Jack McBrayer, Aasif Mandvi and Bobby Cannavale.

One thing is certain, the movie will have a fan base. Among other subjects it deals with Corprophilia, necrophilia, sexually transmitted diseases, racial stereotypes, leprechauns, whips, midgets and a slew of other taboos.

“Movie 43” is opens on Jan. 25. It’s being called “one of the most shocking, original, and dangerous comedies ever made.”
