Redmayne is an English actor, singer and model who is best known for his work in London’s West End, although he’s rapidly gaining a reputation for his film work in Hollywood.
His breakthrough role in the United States came in “My Week with Marilyn,” opposite Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe, He plays Colin Clark, a young production assistant who a week spent with the sex siren while she was filming a picture in England.

His character, Marius, comes from a wealthy family. His father, a general under Napoleon disapproves of his liberal views and opposition to the French social order.
But Marius agrees to his father’s wishes to befriend Thénardier because the rogue saved his father’s life at Waterloo. Unbeknownst to his father, Thénardier was looting the bodies of dead soldiers at the time.
Marius becomes involved in a love triangle with Éponine and Cossette. Eventually through Marius the Thénardiers become aware of Cossette and Jean Valjean. They attempt to cook up another extortion-kidnapping plot that Marius foils.
In the clip, Redmayne sings “A Heart Full Of Love.” Marius is meeting with Éponine in a garden where she professes her love for him. But he loves Cossette and feels guilty about spurning Éponine. The song is his lament about his predicament and his love for Cosette.
