carell-buscemi-wonderstoneWith three comedy titans like Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi and Jim Carrey, “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” seems like it can’t miss. Add some eye-candy like Olivia Wilde and a top-notch supporting cast and did we already say can’t miss?

A new trailer released today puts the delightful, biting comedy at the top of the pack for 2013 pictures.

Directed by Don Scardino and written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the film probes the old Hollywood adage that you are only as good as your last show.

Carell is Burt Wonderstone, a once dynamic magician who was a sensation with his former partner Anton Marvelton, played by Steve Buscemi. After 30 years together, Marvelton retires and Wonderstone must go it alone.

He becomes a tired Vegas act, who is rapidly being eclipsed by hip street magician Steve Gray, played by Jim Carrey. On the verge of losing his show, Wonderstone goes on an odyssey.

He tracks down his old partner and does everything he can to convince him to rejoin the team. He also goes back to his roots to seek out the magician who inspired him to take up the craft, Alan Arkin’s Rance Holloway. James Gandolfini also has a hilarious role as casino owner Doug Munny.

The Warner Bros release opens March 13th, check out the trailer below and follow TheImproper on twitter for all of the latest movie updates.
