Stone, 24, is best known as the intrepid journalist who chronicles the lives of maids living in the pre-civil rights south of the 1960s.
She won a Screen Actors Guild award for the role and a Golden Globe award for the comedy “Easy A.” In fact, Stone has mostly been known for comedies. In her latest film, she plays Gwen Stacey, the love interest of Peter Parker in the “Amazing Spider-Man” reboot.
“The Gangster Squad,” however, is her raciest role yet. She plays a sexy gangster’s moll opposite Sean Penn’s character Mickey Cohen.

She appears on the cover in a black bra with her black leather jacket pulled down around her arms at the waist.
She also appears in leaning against a wall in a black negligee and slumped submissively on the floor in a strapless dress. In another shot, she’s standing in the doorway of a cheap motel room with her dress unbuttoned to the waist, exposing her bra, again.
The sexy look matches the costumes she wore in her new movie. “Those undergarments were pretty demanding,” she said of her role.
“It’s time-consuming to put on a bustier and a little corset every day. But you’re immediately more poised than you would be in modern-day clothes. And it makes it easy to get into character,” she added.
She next returns to comedy in the 2013 ensemble “Movie 43,” directed and produced by Peter Farrelly. It stars Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Chloë Grace Moretz, Elizabeth Banks, Jason Sudeikis and a slew of other stars. A red-band trailer was released on Oct. 3.
