Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will be at the MTV Movie Awards to present a never-before-scene clip from “Eclipse,” and the cable music network is offering a tantalizing sneak peek at what’s to come.
The network claims fans are in a frenzy trying to guess what the trailer might show. Could it be Edward Cullen proposing to Bella Swan?
“Well, the full clip won’t be unleashed until the Movie Awards this Sunday, but it’s just cruel to make you wait that long to find out what you’ll be getting on show night,” the network said.
“So we pushed and we pulled, we twisted arms and engaged in activities that might be illegal in some countries — and voilà: A teaser clip of the ‘Eclipse’ scene to come,” it added.
The scene features Edward, Bella and Jacob in a parking lot. Some of the video may seem familiar; bits of it were in the trailer released in April, but the full clip promises to show much more than anyone has yet seen.
Besides the love triangle between Edward, Bella and Jacob, the movie focuses on an invasion of vampires in Seattle as Victoria seeks her revenge on the Cullens.
The dreaded Volturi will put in an appearance as well, complete with their own drama.
The awards show will air Sunday night Pattinson, Stewart and Lautner will introduce the scene live and in person.
Co-star Chaske Spencer will be MTV International’s official red-carpet correspondent, reporting live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City.
“New Moon” is up in five categories: Best Movie, Best Female Performance (Stewart), Best Male Performance (Pattinson and Lautner), Best Kiss (Stewart and Pattinson) and Global Superstar (Stewart, Pattinson and Lautner).
