cameron-richardsonCameron Richardson’s profile is rapidly rising in Hollywood and it’s not hard to understand why judging from her new photo shoot in GQ magazine, which has a knack for uncovering young starlets.

Richardson is probably best known for her appearance in the original 2007 movie “Alvin and the Chipmunks.” But she also has other acting and modeling credits.

The 5’8″ tall actress was born in Baton Rouge, La. but grew up in New Jersey and moved to New York City to model after graduating from high school.

She’s appeared in Mademoiselle, Interview and Cosmopolitan, among other fashion magazines.

She covered the January-February 2008 issue of Women’s Health magazine.

Among fashion outlets, she’s also modeled for American Eagle Outfitters, GAP, Lucky Brand Jeans, Chic Jeans, and Roxy.

She got into acting at the suggestion of her agent and has landed a succession of smaller roles on Fox’s medical drama “House” and the HBO series “Entourage.”

She played a waitress on the show and has a quickie tryst in the coat room with character Vincent Chase, played by Adrian Grenier.
