Claire Coffee, Star of NBC’s ‘Grimm,’ Invites You to Her Place (photos!)

Claire Coffee has been appearing in living rooms across the country for the past two years in the NBC cop fantasy-drama “Grimm.” So it seems only fitting that she invites us to her place. Maybe she’ll cast a spell. Coffee, 34, posed famously for Esquire magazine’s “Me in My Place” feature in 2011 just about the time she was landing her NBC television role. She was absolutely stunning then and even more stunning now. ...

Seth Meyers Promo Showcases New NBC Late Night Host (watch!)

Seth Meyers is taking the path from “Saturday Night Live” to late his own late-night television show. NBC has started promoting his arrival in a new clip that plays up the SNL connection. Jimmy Fallon, 39, a “Saturday Night Live castmember from 1998 to 2004, blazed the trail with his debut on in 2009 on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.”...

Carrie Underwood Decked Out as Maria for Sound of Music (photo!)

Carrie Underwood definitely has the look down to play Maria Von Trapp in the upcoming NBC production of “The Sound of Music.” The Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic musical will air in December with Underwood in the lead. The role of Maria was immortalized by Julie Andrews in the 1965 Disney film by the same name. Mary Martin did the same for the musical production on Broadway...

Samuel L. Jackson F-Bombs Saturday Night Live Skit (watch!)

Samuel L. Jackson apparently forgot where he was for a moment during a skit on Saturday Night Live with Kenan Thompson and F-bombed during the skit’s closing sequence. It went out over the air as well as another curse. The problem may have been that Jackson was supposed to be playing himself as a guest on a Black Entertainment Network show called “What Up With That? He apparently got a little too much into character, being the great character actor that he is, of course....

Ellen Barkin Blasts Mormon NBC Station for New Normal Ban

Ryan Murphy’s new NBC sitcom “The New Normal” drew a not-so-surprising review from a Salt Lake City, Utah television station owned by the Mormon Church. Not on our airwaves, the station said. What would Mitt Romney say? Jeff Simpson, who heads Bonneville International, the parent company of NBC affiliate station KSL-TV, told reporters the station will pass on the show, which is set to air Tuesdays at 8:30pm, during family viewing hours....

Ryan Murphy 'New Normal' Rips Off 'Modern Family' (watch!)

Ryan Murphy’s new comedy “The New Normal” got it’s first airing during NBC’s Olympic coverage and it doesn’t seem so new. It seems more like a knock off of ABC’s “Modern Family.” But when you can’t create, you duplicate. “Modern Family” revolves around the life of Jay Prichett (Ed O’Neill) and his children, Claire (Julie Bowen) and gay Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson). Enter “The New Normal.” The show is about, you got it, a gay couple David (Justin Bartha) and Bryan (Andrew Rannells)....

Jason Isaacs Stars in 'Awake,' TV's Hot New Sci-Fi Drama

Sci-fi devotees have watched boatloads of shows come and go on the small screen. But when “Awake” debuted several weeks back on NBC, I decided to give it a shot. Shows like “Millennium,” “The Event,” “Jericho,” “Torchwood,” “Fast Forward,” The Nine” and “Heroes,” all started strong, but were soon abandoned by the networks that aired them, often with plots dangling. Let’s hope, the story is different with “Awake.”...

Lindsay Lohan Laughs at Herself on SNL Preview (watch!)

Lindsay Lohan will have plenty of material for jokes on Saturday Nigh Live–herself. Lohan wants to showcase her talent on the show and has no qualms about poking fun at her trials and tribulations. In a new preview of the show, which airs Saturday (Mar. 3), Lohan pokes fun at all the media coverage she’s received and her financial situation....
