Oscar Isaac, who stars in the little-publicized indie film “A Most Violent Year,” could be a surprise Oscar contender and the picture could be a sleeper hit after he walked away with an acting award yesterday (Dec. 3) from The National Board of Review. Although one of the less publicized Tinseltown organizations, the board is made up of movie industry experts and film professionals, who carry some weight in Hollywood.
