Christoph Waltz Lost in Existential Angst in New Zero Theorem Trailer

Christoph Waltz is featured in a new trailer for Director Terry Gilliam’s “The Zero Theorem. The eccentric science fiction film is supposed to close the loop on two other Gilliam films, 1995′s “12 Monkeys and “Brazil” filmed a decade before that. The pictures have no direct connection, but they all deal with similar themes: oppressive corporatism, existential angst and an over-reliance on dysfunctional technology....

Ashley Bell is back as Nell Sweetzer in a new trailer for the upcoming horror flick “The Last Exorcism Part 2.” She thinks she’s in the clear of her demons after fleeing to New Orleans. The movie is a follow up to the surprisingly successful low-budget 2010 debut film “The Last Exorcism,” also starring Bell although, this time, directed by Ed Gass-Donnelly....

Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton turn Grimm’s fairy tale “Hansel and Gretel” on its head in a new red-band trailer for the Tommy Wirkola film, “Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.” It’s so scary it’s funny. They’re out to get an evil coven of witches headed by Famke Janssen, who plays the evil witch Muriel. Peter Stormare, Zoe Bell and Thomas Mann also co-star....

Arnold is back… Schwarzenegger that is. The former California governor, who screwed up his state and botched his marriage, returns to the big-screen in a new teaser clip for “The Last Stand.” Arnold got his feet wet again in Sylvester Stallone’s 2010 ensemble action film “The Expendables.” Now he's ready to go it alone with Jamie Alexander as his partner....

Milla Jovovich, Hotter Than Ever at 37; Readies Music, New Film (photos!)

Milla Jovovich, whose hot body has powered five “Resident Evil” movies, looked like she’s ready to star in five more, judging by her recent jaunt on the beach in Maui over the holidays. Her fresh-faced sexuality has been well documented over the years. She recently posed for a sexy photo spread in the Russian edition of Cosmopolitan magazine and her photo shoot for Purple magazine in 2009 stands as one of the sexiest ever, bar none. After giving birth to one child, Jovovich, at 37, still looks lean and mean. She was spotted with daughter Ever, and husband Paul W.S. Anderson....

Jennifer Garner's Feel-Good 'Odd Life of Timothy Green' Out on DVD

Jennifer Garner’s uplifting family movie, “The Odd Life of Timothy Green” has been released on DVD and Blu-ray. The movie turned off a lot of critics because of its old-fashioned heart-tugging themes, but it’s feel-good entertainment at it’s best. Garner exudes empathy and warmth on the screen like no other actress. She joins Joel Edgerton as Cindy and Joe Green, a couple anxious to start a family. The dream of what their child will be like until a child shows up on their doorstep on, yes, a dark and stormy night. Ten-year-old Timothy (C.J. Adams ) is naked and covered in dirt when he arrives....

Rinko Kikuchi Adds Hot Eye Candy in New Pacific Rim Trailer (watch)

Guillermo Del Toro puts a new spin on classic science fiction films based on giant monsters like “Godzilla.” The trailer for his new film, “Pacific Rim,” pays suitable homage to the genre, while one-upping it with modern special effects. The stars of this movie are the special effects, so don’t be too surprised by the nameless cast. The most recognizable is probably Ron Perlman, best known for playing Vincent, the beast, in the TV series “Beauty and the Beast” (1987-1990) and the lead in the “Hell Boy” movies. He’ll appear with English actor Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, Robert Kazinsky and Max Martini. But the fabulous Rinko Kikuchi will provide the eye-candy....

Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit Scores' on Superior Direction (video)

I never read The Hobbit nor the “Lord of the Rings” series, but when the opportunity came to see a screening of “The Hobbit,” I jumped at the chance. I was dazzled not so much by the story, but by director Peter Jackson’s epic work. Elijah Wood, who appears briefly as Frodo, was good. But Martin Freeman in the titular role as the young Bilbo Baggins is spot-on, Gollum is brilliantly essayed by Andy Serkis....

Isabelle Fuhrman, Kristofer Hivju, Gabriel Caste, Daha Mohamed and Zoe Kravitz also star. ...

Tom Cruise ventures into science fiction for his latest action/adventure movie, “Oblivion.” A new trailer shows Cruise on an alien world, hey wait, it’s earth! Seems the planet has been trashed and he’s out to save it. Cruise teamed up for the film with Director Joseph Kosinski, who also helmed “TRON: Legacy” and produced “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” so you know the special effects will be top rate. The cast is also top notch. It includes Morgan Freeman, Andrea Riseborough, Melissa Leo, Zoë Bell and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, with former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, providing the eye candy....
