Kristen Stewart: On the Road Sans Nudity Wouldn't Work (video)

Kristen Stewart has no regrets about her on-screen nudity in upcoming movie “On the Road.” Anything less, she says, would violated the spirit of the Jack Kerouac book, which became a classic exposition on the ’50s-era Beat Generation. Stewart plays MaryLou, one of the fictionalized characters Kerouac created to represent the real people in his life when he went on the road to gather material for the seminal book. The film also stars Amy Adams, Viggo Mortensen, Kirsten Dunst, Steve Buscemi, Terrence Howard and Elisabeth Moss....

Daniel Day Louis Is Abraham Lincoln; But Is He Really Abe?

Daniel Day Lewis gives the most credible performance as Abraham Lincoln since Henry Fonda in the 1939 movie “Young Mr. Lincoln.” But is he Abe? But where’s Abe, the amiable, good humored backwoods lawyer? He's absent from a new trailer, hopefully not the movie. Anytime an actor and director like Steven Spielberg attempt to take on an historical figure as mythological as Lincoln, debate is sure to erupt over the portrayal....

Emma Watson Wears Daring Dress to Perks NY Premiere (photos)

Emma Watson walked the red carpet in another revealing dress at the New York premiere of her new film “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” after suffering a wardrobe malfunction at the Los Angeles premiere. Emma, 22, was radiant in a white backless dress that she wore without a bra. At certain angles the dress gapped to exposing a classic “side-boob” reveal. The event was hosted by The Cinema Society in New York. She was joined by co-stars Adam Higenbuch, Johnny Simmons, Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller and Erin Wilhelmi....

Paris Jackson Riles Family Over Michael Jackson Comments

Paris Jackson wants to be known as more than Michael Jackson’s daughter. Is that so wrong? Apparently her aunts and uncles things so and are reportedly angered by her comments in a recent interview. The stunningly attractive teen will play lead role in “Lundon’s Bridge and the Three Keys,” a modern-day fantasy adventure based on a book by Dennis Christen. Filming begins in January....

Lana Del Rey Anxiously Awaiting Her Movie Screen Test (photos)

Lana Del Rey could be the next big breakout Hollywood star. At least she’s ready for her photo opportunity and maybe even screen writing career to begin. Hopefully she’ll get off to a better start than her music career. Del Rey, 26, encountered a storm of criticism that she was manufactured and barely talented as a singer after a disastrous debut on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” in January. But she has undeniable star power and drop-dead model looks. She’s making a huge splash in fashion and her singing career is flourishing despite the uproar among music critics....

Blake Lively’s turn as an addled, uninhibited hippie chick in Oliver Stone’s blood and guts movie about the Mexican drug trade is being released on DVD and Blu-ray in an unrated version that was too hot to be shown in theaters. James Bond Film Series Turns 50 This Fall; A Tribute

One of the most naïve statements I ever uttered was that I wanted to be James Bond. I had no interest in working for the government; I just wanted to live James Bond’s life. I realized I most likely would never work as a British agent, but nothing was going to stop me from being a member of her Majesty’s Secret Service in my head. Pretending my 7-up was a shaken vodka martini, I sipped my drink and watched James Bond on television....

Olivia Wilde Sexes Up Land 'o Lakes in Hilarious Butter Trailer (watch!)

Olivia Wilde’s bad-girl stripper Brooke adds some electricity to a new trailer for “Butter,” a dark comedy about greed, ambition, power and ego played out in an Iowa butter-carving competition. The action kicks off when Bob Pickler, played by Ty Burrell, decides to retire after reigning as Iowa’s champion butter carver for 15 years. The political vacuum touches off a free-for-all that includes his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton. No, wrong movie; make that Laura Pickler (Jennifer Garner), who secretly harbors her own ambitions fostered by years as her husband’s loyal, high-profile sidekick. Only one problem, Barack Obama is standing in her way in the guise of 10-year-old Destiny (Yara Shahidi)....

Arnold's Back! Makes a Last Stand (Literally) in New Trailer (watch!)

Arnold Schwarzenegger is back as another over-the-hill action hero who returns in the lead role of a film for the first time since “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines” in 2003. He evokes John Wayne’s wizened appeal from late in his career, with an Austrian accent, of course. Hey, if Clint Eastwood can do it, why not him. If he can make this movie a hit, he’s back in business. Fortunately, he’s got a solid supporting cast. Along with Whitaker, Eduardo Noriega stars as escaped drug kingpin Gabriel Cortez, with Peter Stormare, Rodrigo Santoro, Jaimie Alexander, Zach Gilford, Johnny Knoxville and Genesis Rodriguez....

Will Ferrell's 'The Campaign' Could Be Summer Sleeper Hit

“The Campaign,” starring an outrageously funny Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, rivals last year’s comedy movie of the summer, “Crazy, Stupid, Love,” a sleeper film starring Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, Julianne Moore and Emma Stone. What I liked about “Crazy” was the taut dialogue–relevant and funny–great acting and great direction by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. “The Campaign” scores on all those factors. ...

James Franco, Mila Kunis Take Off in Oz Great, Powerful Trailer

James Franco and sexy Mila Kunis take off on a fantastical voyage in a new traler for “Oz The Great and Powerful,” Disney’s re-imagining of the L. Frank Baum classic. This time the tale focuses on the wizard. The 1939 classic “Wizard of Oz,” with Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley and Bert Lahr, set an almost impossibly high bar for any effort to remake the fairy tale story. But this film is different. The Sam Raimi-directed film also stars Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Zach Braff....

Nina Dobrev, who stars in the CW series “Vampire Diaries,” looks cozy in her place wearing an over-sized shirt and skinny jeans. The Esquire photo feature’s not bad for a girl with a 162-year-old vampire boyfriend. Actually, Nina is reported to be dating “Vampire Diaries” co-star Ian Somerhalder. She will appear on the big-screen in “The Perks of Being a Wallflower, with Nick Braun and Emma Watson....
