Miley Cyrus stepped up on Jimmy Fallon last night with a solution to this year’s Christmas conundrum.

She sings the overtly sexist lyrics in the 1953 holiday chesnut “Santa Baby,” with a twist. My how things have changed!

The song, oddly enough, was written by a woman, Joan Javits, the niece of U.S. Sen Jacob K. Javits, with Philip Springer. It was originally recorded by ’50s-era sex siren Eartha Kitt.

Santa was portrayed as a sugar daddy who was coming on Christmas night to deliver the goods. Here are some of the lyrics.

“Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree for me
    Been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight”

You get the drift. It’s all about the bling. Yacht’s, convertible sports cars, a few blank checks and oh yeah, about that platinum mine.

Madonna actually sang the song, as is, for a 1987 charity album A Very Special Christmas. She apparently had no problem with the lyrics.

But in our post #MeToo world, Miley was having none of it. Miley sees Santa more like an ass-grabbing dirtball.

Jimmy Fallon shows up on set, wearing a Hugh Hefner-knockoff white turtle neck under a cardigan sweater. “Miley, are you ready for the Santa Baby sketch?” he asked.

    She is, but she isn’t.

“Almost, but I think I might need to change a few of these lyrics,” she says with a look of disgust. “Are you cool with that?”

Fallon notes that it’s a beloved Christmas classic.

“Am I saying I’m gonna’ hook up with Santa if he buys me all this stuff?” she protests.

    Just then, it’s showtime!

“Look do what ever,” says a panicky Jimmy. “I totally trust you.”

    Oops, famous last words.

On stage, Miley looks the part, She’s sprawled on a divan in a thigh-high mini-skirt, sexy red stockings and a skin-tight red sweater.

But the message she delivers is something else.

“Santa, baby, I don’t fancy any fancy jewelry, not me
i’ve got something else in mind
santa baby, and i don’t need your presents tonight”

“Don’t want diamonds, cash or stocks
nothing that comes in a box
no more fluff, I’ve had enough
and I can buy my own damn stuff”

Miley gives a big shout out for equal pay and tells all the “dirtballs” to put away their chimneys tonight.

Mark Ronson also lends a hand. He’s collaborating with Miley Cyrus on songs off her new album.
