
The Australian singer is the latest addition to the BBC singing and mentoring competition.
Fellow judges will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas, UK crooner Tom Jones and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson join her on the judge’s panel. But all eyes were on Kylie.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 when she was 36, but survived the illness and has rebuilt her career. She remains one of Australia’s most popular singers.
She’s sold more than 70 million records and won a Grammy as well as other awards.

For the launch, she wore a matching black and white Dolce & Gabbana cape over a strapless matching dress with an asymmetrical skirt that revealed her leg. She accessorized with black open-toe heels with gold trim.
“Each [contestant] wants to possess what Kylie’s accomplished and no one on the panel last year could provide that to the singers,” said returning judge will.i.am.
“So I was thinking, ‘Wow, Kylie would actually be awesome because she’s the only person in contemporary music that has that experience,'” he added.
“So, I was like, “Let me see if Kylie does it. If she says yes, then I’ll say yes!”‘
Kylie is known as a dance artist with an infectious personality and is expected to inject some fun into the show, not to mention a lot of sexy looks.
