Liam Gallagher and Robbie Williams have been feuding for 20 years, longer than any other rock stars. But Liam, at least, seems ready to bury the hatchet. Is a reunion possible?

The former Oasis frontman has been battling with Robbie for almost 20 years, mostly exchanging heated charges and counter charges.

Robbie recently challenged Liam to a fight – again– to raise money for the NHS.

“I still want to fight. There’s a lot of things I want to experience,” he said.

“I saw KSI and Logan Paul fight and just thought, ‘That looks amazing.’ I don’t dislike anybody enough to train for those 10 weeks and give it my all apart from Liam.

“The offer still stands, I’m available,” he said.

But when Liam found out Robbie’s father Pete Conway had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, he reached out to offer support.

“Oi Robbie balboa it’s LG I hear you got shit going down in your fam I’m sorry to hear that love n light going out to your family stay cool and in tune LG x” Liam wrote on Twitter.

Robbie, 46, admitted he was delighted to receive the message from Liam.

“Brother.that means a lot to me ..Carry on being celestial .the world needs you .Your fan rob,” Robbie wrote back.

Despite their war of words over the years, Robbie recently hailed Liam “iconic” and “the voice of a generation,.”

A fan in a separate exchange asked the “For What It’s Worth” singer if his fight with his rival was off.

Using the rhyming slang for fight – Barry White – Liam replied: “There was never gonna be a Barry peace n love”

Robbie first challenged Liam to a fight at the 2000 BRIT Awards and bet £100,000, about $130,000. He only backed off when wife Ayda Field called the idea “embarrassing.”

“You are 45, man. You’re going to go in a ring and smack each other? It’s just lame,” she said.

    Oye… old age.

As the story goes, Liam and Robbie were once best buds. They played charity football together, spent a lost weekend causing trouble at Glastonbury, and Liam even shared the same stage with Williams.

But big brother Noel Gallagher put an end to their antics, according to UK press reports.

Noel called Williams a “fat dancer from Take That,” and suddenly the bromance was over.

In the late ’90s, Williams and Nicole Appleton got engaged. They split in 2000, and she rebounded a year later with Liam. That put further distance between the two.

Williams most recently said Liam’s post-Oasis band, Beady Eye, “weren’t very good.” But has also praised Gallagher’s solo career.

“He worked with proper songwriters who do that for a living, [people] that craft, verses, choruses, middle eights really, really well. He writes a great lyric, he does great melodies and he’s a voice of a generation.”

Robbie added this in a separate interview: “I’d do a song with him. My favorite song of the year is his track ‘For What It’s Worth.’ I think it’s the best song either Liam or Noel has written in the last 20 years.”
