Singer Chris Brown has flown off the handle, again, over his brutal 2009 assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna. He’s irked because people just can’t let it go. Does he have a point? Or is it him?
Brown learned the hard way that the public has a low tolerance for thuggish behavior, especially when it involves violence against women.
Now he’s about to get a major chance at redemption on the upcoming American Music Awards tonight (Nov. 20).
He’s up for the AMA’s “Favorite Male Artist – Soul/R&B” and “Favorite Album- Soul R&B” and will perform.
His fourth studio album, F.A.M.E, includes three No. 1 singles, “Look At Me Now,” “Deuces” and “No BS” and is an unqualified hit.
But it’s probably no coincidence that his blowups come just when he’s hitting a high-point in his career.
It suggests he’s deeply insecure and subconsciously feels unworthy of his own success.
He let his frustration boiled over on Thursday (Nov. 17) in a ruinous Twitter rant. He exploded with the profanity-laced tirade on Thursday (Nov. 17).
Although he has some 5.7 million followers, it only took one, who brought up his 2009 assault, to light his short fuse.
“Don’t say s*** to anybody and everyone feels its cool to attack me. GROWN ADULTS!!!! That s*** happened three years ago,” he wrote.
“TWITTER GETS WACK REAL FAST! I LOVE ALL THE PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT MY MUSIC! I never said I was a LEGEND. People please grow up.
“I’ve never dealt with so much negativity in my life! It’s to the point now that it’s just ridiculous!
“I’M NOT A POLITICIAN! MY MUSIC DOESNT PROMOTE VIOLENCE nor will it ever! Only thing it will increase is the pregnacy rate!,” he added.
“I wake up thinking of living my life….. YOU wake up thinking of me! NOW I REALLY CAN’T WAIT FOR THE AMA’s! U dont have to respect me now… but u will.”
To top it off, he made a vulgar reference to Rihanna.
“I know a lot of you wack a** (OLD) celebrities probably wanna f*** my ex, but talking s*** on me wont get you far! and to be REALLY HONEST, ya’ll wonder why n**** spazzes all the time?”
Brown has worked hard since the assault to demonstrate his remorse. But he still can’t seem to grasp the reality of what he did and more importantly why.
Until he does, he needs to count himself among those who can’t let it go.

Amen to this article. Either 1) all these blow-ups is his way of getting attention before a show or other projects or 2) He is really a coo coo. People bring up this stuff because they know he will give a crazy ass tweet. Also, really his music is not that good, so yes people will bring up other stuff. Stop trying to copy Usher,really get into music, control your anger and then maybe then people will move on.
