  • Stevie Nicks, who looks remarkable for 64, is ready to hit the road again with Fleetwood Mac. She confirmed that the “everyone is on board” for the reunion tour in 2013 today in a new interview.

Nicks appeared on “CBS This Morning,” and invariably the topic came up whether the ’70s super group would play together again.

“It’s the plan,” she said. “Because that’s what we do. I do my thing. And Lindsey [Buckingham] is out doing his thing now.”

The band’s 1977’s album Rumors, which featured Nicks and then-boyfriend Buckingham, is considered a classic. To date it has sold over 40 million copies worldwide.

Rumors marked the second incarnation of the band, which lasted from 1975 to 1987. It also featured Christine McVie on keyboards and vocals and Mick Fleetwood on drums. The band originally formed in London in 1967.

Fleetwood Mac last hit the road in 2009 for a reunion tour, the first that wasn’t backed by a new album. The success of the tour kept alive the idea of a follow up.

Last year an episode of Fox’s hit show “Glee,” (Season 2, Episode 19) featured six songs off the band’s Rumors album. The show ignited interest in the group among a new generation of music fans and sent Nick’s solo album In Your Dreams, released at the same time, to No. 6 on the charts.

Nicks started talking about a new tour in May last year and said she hoped they would hit the road this year. She even mentioned a possible new album. Her comments on CBS are the latest to confirm that a tour is still in the works, but there was no mention of an album.

McVie retired from touring in 1998 and there was no word whether she would be re-upping for this trek. Check out the interview below:
