The band is currently on the road promoting their new documentary “One Direction: This is Us,” which lets fans in on some of the behind-the-scenes action of the lads’ tours.
The band landed in America in March a year ago and have been on an incredible tear. They recently did the rounds in New York, appearing on the “Today” show. They drew one of the largest crowds ever to Rockefeller Center for the show’s Summer Concert Series.
The new album is expected to be “edgier” than their previous pop albums with a “slightly rockier tone,” according to the band. One Direction will also launch the “Where We Are Tour” in April 2014. It will be their first stadium tour.
