Jewel Kilcher, better known simply as Jewel, looked shockingly busty in a low-low cut gown during her performance at the 81st Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in New York City. Fortunately we’ll see a lot more of her on NBC’s “The Sing Off.”

The 39-year-old pop, folk, country and rock singer, who also dabbles in acting, is replacing Sara Bareilles as a judge on the talent competition show’s fourth season.

Jewel burst onto the music scene, seemingly out of nowhere, in 1995. She was born in Utah, but raised in the tiny town of Homer, Alaska, where her father was involved in local and state politics.

She spent most of her teens living out of her car and playing he guitar at local bistros and radio stations.

But her debut album, Pieces of You became one of the top-selling debut albums of all time, going 15 times platinum, which equals more than 15 million albums sold.

Her early songs were simple, folk rock ballads that she sang in a crystal clear voice. Songs off her first album, “You Were Meant for Me”, “Who Will Save Your Soul” and “Foolish Games” are considered classics.

After Pieces of You, she drifted more into a pop and country music, undercutting her original fan base. At the same time, she began putting more effort into acting. Over the past six years, she’s appeared on a slew of shows, mainly as herself.

Jewel married pro rodeo cowboy Ty Murray in 2008 after 10 years together an gave birth to a son, Kase Townes Murray two years ago. Since then, she’s been jump-starting her career.

“The Sign-Off’s” fourth season would premiere on Dec. 9. Jewel will join host Nick Lachey and judges Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman from Season 3.

The show features a cappella groups performing popular songs live in a competition for a $100,000 grand prize and a recording contract with Sony Music.
