Johnny Depp stunned a small audience at London’s 100 Club last night by jumping on stage and rocking out for two tunes with “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” Alice Cooper who’s out promoting  a new album.

Depp, 48, more than held his own along side regular band members Chuck Garric and Damon Johnson

Depp is in London filming a new Tim Burton-directed film, “Dark Shadows.”

He’s teaming up again wit Helena Bonham Carter, with whom he starred in “Alice in Wonderland” and 2007’s “Sweeny Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.”

Michelle Pfeiffer and “Kick-Ass” star Chloe Moretz are also in the picture.

Cooper let fans know he would be joined by a special guest at the show, but no one counted on it being Depp, who is know more for acting that music.

But he banged right along with the band, including a solo on Cooper’s iconic “Eighteen.” He also riffed on “School’s Out.”

Actually, Depp has been pretty solid on the guitar for quite a while, and he’s showed off his skills from time to time in his movies.

He did all the playing in “Chocolat,” his 2000 movie about a woman and her daughter, who open a chocolate shop in a small French village after World War II and shake up the town’s repressed morality.

He also played in the 2003 film “Once Upon a Time in Mexico” about a CIA agent (Depp) who recruits the notorious El Mariachi to killed a corrupt general who is out to overthrow the government.

He once said playing lead slide guitar with Oasis for their songs “Fade Away” and “Fade In-Out” on band’s Be Here Now album was a career high.

Cooper is out promoting his new album Welcome 2 My Nightmare, and introduced Depp as “the blues master, Mr Johnny D from Kentucky.”

But there was no mistaking who he was in the crowd.

“I think we could use another guitar player. If this whole movie thing doesn’t work out, call us,” Cooper said afterward.
