Lionsgate and Suretone Pictures unveiled the official trailer on today (Aug. 5) for their supernatural horror thriller.
Written by Stephen Susco and produced by former Geffen Records President Jordan Schur, the project is based on David Morrell’s bestselling novel “Creepers.”
“We have arrived at our destination with a powerful script adapted from a timeless book and a gifted director leading the charge,” Schur stated. “We could not ask for a better partner in Lionsgate.”
The project, Schur added, represents a decade of development.
Urban exploration has become a popular feature on social media platforms, and the film capitalizes on that with a blend of found-footage horror elements and traditional thriller components.
The project arrives as horror films continue dominating box office discussions and urban exploration content gains popularity online.
