The singer released her sophomore album, Battlefield” in 2009. Her self-titled debut album was released in 2007 after she won the sixth season of “American Idol.” She was 17 at the time and is still the youngest contestant to ever win the show, which is now heading into its 13th season.

The 23-year-old sings “You’re my lover, you’re my friend, you’re my gangsta.”
Her upcoming album will include a duet with Derulo, who will release a new album Tattoos on Sept. 24. Her last single, “I Am Woman,” was released in 2011. But whether it will appear on her upcoming album remains to be seen.
