
Alexa Ray Joel was the center of attention at La Pulperia Restaurant in Manhattan to celebrate her appearance on the cover of Bella magazine. Supermodel and Alexa’s mom, Christie Brinkley, also played a supporting role at the fete.
For her cover shot, Alexa wore a red, sweetheart neckline gown. inside, she talked about her singing and songwriting career and what it’s like to have two superstar parents. Her dad is singer Billy Joel.
Cocktails were presented by Prosecco DOC, Batiste Rhum, Beso Del Sol Sangria, 1907water and Reed’s Ginger Beer.

La Pulperia, a Latin influenced seafood restaurant first opened in Hell’s Kitchen in 2014. Two other locations followed on the Upper East Side and Midtown East.
Victor Medina and Carlos Barroz, who also serves as Executive Chef. own the restaurants. Named after the general stores found throughout South America, La Pulperia offers simple yet refined cuisine from the countries of Latin America with contemporary culinary influences from Spain and Italy.
In 2013, Joel began dating restaurateur Ryan Gleason. They became engaged in January this year.
