Kate Upton, the fetching swimsuit model, learned the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished.

Animal rights activists stormed her New York City exercise class to scorn her for supporting, of all things… polar bears.

Actually, it’s not so much her support for the Arctic giants, but the fact that her campaign is backed by Canada Goose, a clothing maker that uses goose down in its winter jackets.

The 27-year-old supermodel announced she was joining forces with the outwear brand in November. It supports conservation of polar bears, which have been endangered by global warming.

Upton was in New York City on Wednesday (Dec. 19), as usual, leading her Strong4Me Fitness class when the animal rights activists burst in.

The activists screamed “shame on you!” and “blood on their hands” during the confrontation, according to The New York Post’s PageSix.

“I hope you get shot in the head and you’re strangled to death,” shouted on protester.

You’re an influencer. You should be promoting kindness and yet you promote violence. Shame on you, you murderer!”

Kate was stunned speechless, while the activists were herded out of the room by gym staff.

Canada Goose, founded in 1957, has been a target of animal rights activists because they extensively use animal fur and feathers in their garments.

Upton announced her partnership with the company on World Kindness Day in November.

“I’m proud to partner with Canada Goose and PBI to help raise awareness and ensure a future for Polar Bears,” she wrote.

“I recently had the honor of visiting the new PBI House to learn about polar bears, polar bear research, and the role each of us plays in polar bear conservation.

Thank you @canadagoose & @polarbearsinternational for you efforts to make this world a better place.”

The model is yet to comment publicity on the incident.

Other celebrities, including Pamela Anderson, a long-time member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), have protested against Canada Goose.

The 52-year-old model-and-actress previously penned a letter to over 800 Canada Goose employees urging them to use their positions to put pressure on the company to stop using fur from coyotes on the hoods on some of their jackets due to the cruel trapping methods.

Actor Justin Long went undercover inside a Canada Goose store to highlight the use of coyote fur and actress Maggie Q led a protest outside the company’s Toronto headquarters calling for coyote fur use to end.

Meanwhile, last March, Drake was urged by animal rights group PETA to end his association with the brand after claiming to have become a vegetarian.

PETA penned an open letter to the ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ hitmaker telling him that if he was in fact vegetarian he should end his clothing line OVO Clothing’s association with Canada Goose.

The group has a long history of targeting celebrities who wear fur or other animal related products.

Kim Kardashian and her sisters, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian have been frequent targets.

At the same time, a number of celebrities have posed nude for the organization to publicize its causes. Check out their photos below at our sister site The New York Independent.
