Broadway veteran Bernadette Peters and Matthew Morrison, best known for his role on hit Fox show “Glee,” were show stoppers at the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF) dinner at restaurant Daniel on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The non-profit organization funds groundbreaking cancer research programs and has helped save millions of lives.
During the evening, Wall Street financier Mike Milken, a cancer survivor, highlighted some of the PFC’s research initiatives.
He also presented Marie Bernstein and Larry Leeds with trophies for winning the 2016 Charles Evans PCF Pro-Am Tennis Tour.
A trivia quiz was held over the course of the evening, which attendees could partake in while enjoying the delectable dishes prepared by Daniel’s Chef Daniel Boulud.

Spotted in the crowd were Milken and wife Lori Milken, Jerry Jones, Gene Jones, Mitchell Modell, Mira Tzur, Larry Leeds, Tom Lee, Marie Bernstein, Seth Bernstein, Bonnie Pfeifer Evans and David and Julia Koch.
Ted Virtue and Dani Virtue were also on hand along with Debra Black, Leon Black, Bob Barth, Nicole Frank, Cynthia Ott, James Coleman, Arik Kislin, Glenn Myles, Frederick Anderson and Charles and Kristen Krusen.
Amy Hagner, Bill Hagner, Carol Mack, Earle Mack, Todd Boehly, Katie Boehly, Tony Minella, Sage Minella, Richard LeFrak and Izzy Englander were also spotted in the crowd.
Tables for the event sold for $100,000. Live auctions raised more than $5 million to fund four Challenge Awards, ground breaking research projects that will improve and provide better treatments for cancer patients.
The foundation is the world’s leading philanthropic organization funding and accelerating prostate cancer research. Founded in 1993, PCF has raised more than $660 million and provided funding to more than 2,000 research programs at more than 200 cancer centers and universities.
The PCF global research enterprise now extends to 19 countries. PCF advocates for greater awareness of prostate cancer and more efficient investment of governmental research funds for transformational cancer research.
