Georgina Bloomberg, Lili Buffett, and Charlotte Lebenthal Diamond were among this year’s leadership at the Winter Wonderland Ball, a charitable event at the New York Botanical Garden that drew nearly 400 “society insiders” to support the charitable cause.

The Winter Wonderland Ball is one of New York City’s most fashionable holiday parties, with a wintry cocktail reception followed by dinner and dancing with one of the city’s most prominent DJs, Mei Kwok.

The 30th Holiday Train Show cocktail reception was held in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.

Guests were also treated to the NYBG GLOW outdoor decorative light display from the Garden Terrace Room.

Proceeds from the benefit will go to The New York Botanical Garden’s world-renowned Children’s Education Program.

The celebrated Holiday Train Show was on display amid a miniature landscape of New York landmarks. The display featured trains, bridges and tracks—a beloved NYBG tradition for decades.

Guests whose generosity helped raised funds for the Garden’s Children Education program were treated to GLOW, a colorful 1.5-mile lightscape that breathtakingly illuminates NYBG’s historic landscape.

In addition to Bloomberg, Buffett and Diamond, the Ball Leadership included such bold-face names as Gillian Hearst, Kerry Joyce, Alexandra Kittle, Jerome Lamaar, Serena Marron, Larry Ross Milstein, Lansing D. Moore Jr., Olivia Palermo, Johannes Huebl and Ariana Rockefeller, Amelia E. A. Rudick and Zoe Weingarten.

The Ball benefit committee included Lizzie Asher, Daniel Howard, Casey Kohlberg, Bryan Ludwig, Aerin Glazer and Anita Suggarti.

The stellar guest list included Mercedes de Guardiola, Casey Kohlberg, Ivy Getty, Daniel Ezra, Timo Weiland, Lilah Ramzi, Sara Reistadt-Long and Alessia Fendi.

Sponsors included Saks Fifth Avenue, De Beers and Veuve Clicquot.

Of note this year, all Winter Ball attendees were required to provide proof of vaccination.

“Safety is our priority, and NYBG continues to carefully monitor and follow all applicable City, State, and Federal COVID guidelines; applicable protocols required at the time of the event will be followed,” the Botanical Garden stated on its website.
