Celebrated porn star Nikki Benz, who was born in the Ukraine and raised in Canada, had a lot to celebrate this past week. She not only was named Penthouse Pet of the Year, but marked her birthday at a party in New York at the Sky Room Times Square.
The Penthouse Pet, 29, who now resides in Los Angeles, was born Dec. 11, 1981. She was in New York to promote the January issue of Penthouse, which she covers.
“I’ve always wanted to be a Penthouse Pet, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d become the 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year!” said the busty, blonde Canada native. “I would like to thank my fans, my friends and family for their support.”
Benz eagerly pursued a career in the adult film industry. Shortly before her 21st birthday, she reached out to a porn film director and was signed with Pleasure Productions in January 2003.
She has been nominated for more than a dozen porn industry awards, including for best porn Web site and female porn star of the year, since 2006.
She made her first girl-on-girl sex scene in “Strap On Sally 20” with Gina Lynn, and her first boy-girl scene with Ben English in “The Sweetest Thing.”
After completing her contract, Benz moved to Los Angeles and signed with Jill Kelly Productions in 2004.

From there, Benz moved to TeraVision in 2005.
Beside Penthouse, Benz has been featured in such magazines as High Society, Genesis, Fox, OUI, Cheri, Hustler, Club and Club International.
She was Penthouse Pet of the Month in April, and was also featured on the cover in the May 2008 issue.
Benz has made several appearances on the FoxSports.com show “Cubed,” playing wise cracking, sports-savvy cleaning lady.

Former porn actress Robin Byrd, host of “The Robin Byrd Show,” a fixture on public-access cable television in New York City for close to thirty years, was a special guest along with a bevy of Penthouse Pets.
