Selena Gomez continues to bring down the house on the southern swing of her tour through Texas. She played the Gexa Energy Pavillion in Dallas and got a home state welcome.
“Thank you for the warm welcome home,” she said. “This is still my favorite place to perform.
Gomez emerged from beneath the stage to start her show. She stood on a half-circle platform with two sets of stairs and opened with “A Year Without Rain.”
Her band, The Seldom Seen— guitarist Ethan Roberts, bassist Joey Clement, drummer Greg Garman, and keyboardist Dane Forrest) played while backup singers and four dancers joined her.

Selena, 19, wore the same sexy sequined and glitter dress with beaded fringe and a skirt that flowed in back but was mini-skirt short in the front as she has in previous stops.
“I’m not performing for you,” she told the fans. “I’m performing with you tonight.”
She later switched to purple glitter workout pants with a white bra covered in sequins and rhinestones.
Gomez has been afraid to get a little sexual with her dancing and did a bad girl rap again, sampling Nikki Manaj’s “Super Bass,” something she’s done at most shows on the tour.
Gomez performed tracks from her new album, as well as “Summer’s Not Hot,” “We Own the Night,” “Love You Like a Love Song,” “My Dilemma,” “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know,” “Naturally,” and “Who Says.”
“Don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t do something, because I’m on this stage tonight because you believed in me,” she told the crowd.
