During their collaboration on Rihanna’s last video for her song “Take Care,” she sang with Drake, and a new promo photo shows them in a close embrace.
Rihanna, 23, has her head against rapper Drake’s chest in the black and white photo, and video director Yoann Lemoine said their close relationship made the video possible.
“They seemed to be super close and that’s what I wanted for the video. Visually, it’s a very humble video. … It’s not crazy,” he told MTV.
“It’s actually the most indie video I’ve done my whole life. It’s probably the most famous artists, and they were so open to a project that was so minimal.”
“Take Care” is the second song they’ve sung together. They also collaborated on Rihanna’s “What’s My Name?”
While there have been reports the two could be dating, Rihanna has also been getting closer to her ex Chris Brown, who infamously beat her up before the 2009 Grammys. Brown, however, is dating Vietnamese model Karrueche Tran.
For his part, Drake denied any relationship during an interview in January on Radio One. “Me and Rihanna have a great connection, but no, we’re not together.”
