Kim Kardashian’s divorce from Kanye West is imminent, state documents filed Feb. 22, on Kim’s behalf.
The Hollywood staple, “irreconcilable differences” is being cited as the cause.
Kim, 40, and sisters Khloe Kardashian, 36, and Kourtney Kardashian, 41, are hot, rich and, according to their slavish fans, beautiful. So why can’t they keep a husband?
Given, marriage is hard for anyone. But the Kardashians aren’t just anyone. Or so they say every week on their show.
If they don’t have everything going for them, who does?
Even so, their marriage track record is terrible. Kim, supposedly the most beautiful and successful among them, has had the worst luck.
She eloped at 19 with her first husband, Damon Thomas in 2000. They divorced in 2004.
She chalked that one up to marrying too young and physical and emotional abuse, although Thomas was the one who filed.
In May 2011 she became engaged to NBA player Kris Humphries after dating for about a year. She had a lavish wedding and released a “wedding fragrance” called “Kim Kardashian Love.” A two-part wedding special followed.
But she dumped Humphries on Halloween after a 72-day marriage, spent over a year in litigation and finally was divorced in 2013.
By then she was dating rapper West. She’d passed over so many times calling him a “retread” would be kind.
They married in May 2014, almost a year after their first child North West was born. But the marriage is on the rocks.
Khloe’s whirlwind marriage to one-time basketball star Lamar Odom was troubled almost from the beginning.
Yet, she claimed just the opposite in countless tabloid interviews. She even doled out marriage advice, setting herself up for a big fall.
Since then, she’s been passed around by mostly professional basketball players.
Kourtney’s relationship with Scott Disick was like a rock in contrast, even though they never married. But that soured in 2015, after three children, Mason Dash Disick, Penelope Scotland Disick and Reign Aston Disick.
Both have dated around ever since. Kourtney is currently hooking up with blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
Kim’s relationship with Kanye has apparently been a shit show for months if not years.
Kanye apparently stepped over the edge when he decided on a spur of the moment to run for president. After that, his behavior became increasingly sporadic.
She and Kanye went to marriage counseling to try to work things out, but Kim reportedly stopped wearing her wedding band in November.
The two have had little contact since October when they argued during her 40th birthday party held at The Brando resort in Polynesia.

In recent months, the children have mostly been seen with Kim in Hidden Hills, Calif., at the family’s $60 million mansion.
Kanye has been staying at their ranch in Cody, Wyoming.
Kim is being represented by celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser in the court proceedings.
She has asked for joint legal and physical custody of her four children with Kanye – North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, 21 months.
Kim has asked the court to terminate spousal support and references a prenup that spells out property division.
But all is not lost. The final season of the sister’s reality show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” will likely document the divorce.
The Kardashian family is also reportedly negotiating a deal with streaming service Hulu.
