Miley Cyrus, who was laid up in the hospital for almost two weeks after an allergic reaction to an antibiotic, is out, back on her feet and ready to resume her concert schedule. She talked about her “poisoning” with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show.

Calling the experience scary Miley related: “I had basically been poisoning myself with something I didn’t know I was really scary allergic to.”

“It was insane. I was begging the doctors, ‘Let me out to go do the show!’ It was basically no way,” she said.

Miley first fell ill after complaining of flu-like symptoms while she was touring in North Carolina. She developed an acute sinus and throat infection and began taking the antibiotic Cephalexin, according to Celebrity Health & Fitness, a Web site that tracks celebrity health issues.

She cancelled her concert in Charlotte and was hospitalized in Kansas City. She cancelled the remainder of her North American tour. But she’s rescheduled those dates and will resume her tour in Europe in May.
