  • Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie shows off her talented tongue in a new commerical for Dr. Pepper that features her in a sharp departure from her normal hip-hop, fly-girl look.

Fergie, 35, appears as a raven-haired seductress in a take off on the cult TV hit “Twin Peaks.”

She goes through the motions of tying a cherry stem into a knot, a well-known bar trick made famous by actress Sherilyn Fenn, who played evil, seductive, teenager Audrey Horne in the 1990s television soap.

Twin Peaks, a creation of film director David Lynch was a dark series based on the murder investigation of a teenage girl, Laura Palmer, in small town with a lot of dark secrets. It’s offbeat characters and surreal dream sequences made it a hit.

In the commercial, Fergie doesn’t actually tie the stem with her tongue, but the ad is still clever, nonetheless.

Instead, she lifts the can and pours a big stream of Dr. Pepper into her mouth. She makes a tying motion with her tongue an pulls out the stem.

The idea is supposed to accentuate Dr. Pepper’s fruity tastes. But Fergie’s sizzling sexuality is well worth watching.
