At Claude’s restaurant in the Southampton Inn, diners will enjoy a signature breakfast, indoor and outdoor dining in our garden courtyard, or a cocktail on the pool patio.
The Inn itself is surrounded by magnificent estates, historic homes, museums, galleries, unique shops and some of the finest restaurants in the Hamptons.
In addition, the Inn has a complimentary, seasonal polka dotted shuttle that takes guests to the No 1 rated Coopers Beach, just one mile from the Inn’s front door.
Or Inn chauffeur will transport your beach chairs and towels after brunch or a jog or bicycle ride through the historic streets of Southampton to the beach.
The restaurant, itself, has undergone an overhaul. Both the dining room and outside European courtyard and poolside patios, have been renovated.
“For the first time in ten years, Claude’s will not only be serving breakfast and outdoor lunch, but now a superb dinner inside or outside under the stars, featuring many of the foods and ingredients grown locally from our farmers and sourced from our fishermen,” said Inn owner Dede Gotthelf.
Chef Carlos oversees lunch and dinner menus, showcasing many local farms and farmers. Both menus are designed specifically using fresh, in-season ingredients.
Dishes include Peconic Pride Oysters with shallot cucumber mignonette; Rope Cultured Mussels Chimichurri style; Satur Farm Little Gem Salad; Pan Roasted Day Boat Halibut with wild mushroom ragu and truffle potato puree and Sheep Ricotta Gnudi with mini lamb meatballs.
Claude’s also hosts music, theatrical and literary acts during the summer. A newly constructed state-of-the-art performance stage will host rock star pianist, actor, and Juilliard School prodigy Konstantin Soukhovetski every Thursday evening from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Beginning June 21, Soukhovetski will play renditions of popular tunes on a one-of-a-kind all-glass baby grand piano, designed especially for his performances.
