Eddie Murphy and Pete Davidson have a few issues bridging the generation gap in the new action comedy, heist movie,  “The Pickup.”

Murphy, 64, stars with Davidson, 31, as mismatched armor car drivers who are caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Russell (Murphy) and Travis (Davidson) are guards paired up on an armored car run. Their personalities immediately clash.

But they don’t have time to work out their issues. A ruthless band of criminals led by savvy and sexy Zoe (Keke Palmer), hijack their truck. But something more is going on beside cash and cargo.

The cast is also a veritable walk through time with Andrew Dice Clay, Eva Longoria, Ismael Cruz Córdova, Jack Kesy and Marshawn Lynch set to co-star.

“As chaos unfolds around them, the unlikely duo must navigate high-risk danger, clashing personalities, and one very bad day that keeps getting worse,” according to the synopsis.

The film, distributed by Amazon MGM Studios, was written by Matt Midler and Kevin Burrows, and produced by Tim Story, John Davis, John Fox, Eddie Murphy and Charisse Hewitt-Webster.

It will be released on Prime Video, Aug 6.
