No explanation was given, except for the caption: “Cool mum #drakespanxdance.”

Allen looked like she was in her dressing room, apparently getting ready for a show, when she filmed herself.

The 29-year-old singer was in Glasgow, Scotland over the weekend performing in the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend concert.

In the video, she dances to Drake’s 2012 hip-hop tune, “Started From The Bottom.” The single is from his third studio album Nothing Was the Same.

Allen had a remarkable career until she hit a series of personal tragedies.

She suffered a miscarriage while dating Chemical Brothers musician Ed Simons in 2007. She suffered a still birth six months into her pregnancy with her second child and was hospitalized with speticaemia.

She spent three weeks in a mental hospital afterward to cope with depression.

She wed Sam Cooper, a builder and decorator, in 2011 and give birth to a daughter Ethel Mary the same year.

She gave birth to a second daughter, Marnie Rose, in January a year ago and has launched a comeback.

Allen suffered another health setback when she was hospitalized for uncontrolled “projectile vomiting.” So it’s good to see her enjoying herself.
