Rihanna is officially 30, but don’t dare call her old. Instead she said turning “dirty 30” is marking a new era for her in her life. Already accomplished in her career, what could she possibly mean? Baby, maybe? Or, at least a new album…?

The party was held in New York City in true Rihanna fashion, with lots of glam and celebrity guests, including one-time rumored dreamboat Leonardo DiCaprio.

Paris Hilton and Rihanna’s billionaire boyfriend, Hassan Jameel were also spotted in the crowd. He and Rihanna were “very close” for all night, according to The New York Post’s Page Six.

Rihanna’s family and executives Shawn Pecas and OG Juan Perez from her label Roc Nation were there.

Notably absent were Jay Z and Beyonce. Rihanna was once a Jay Z protege.

Toni Braxton sang to the birtday girl from the stage. Rihanna is apparently a huge Tony Braxton fan.

The birthday girl hosted a four-course dinner at The Grill, catered by Mario Carbone, before moving to an after-party where Braxton performed.

“It was a really elegant black-tie event. Rihanna and her guests dined on gnudi with caviar and peppered filet mignon, washed down with a lot of champagne,” a source told the gossip site.

“They crushed hundreds of bottles of champagne, and Leo DiCaprio snuck into the after-party through a side door,” the source said.

Rihanna was busy on social media. She shared a photo from her childhood as part of a tribute to her mother, Monica, on Instagram.

Monica replied: “Happy 30th. God’s blessings to my 1st born. The sweetest, most humble person I know, and most loving daughter ever. Lots of love back to you on your special day.”
