Guns ‘n Roses guitarist Slash who just released his first solo album, will soon be playing solo, again, if not on stage, in his personal life.
The famed guitarist filed for divorce today (Aug. 30) in Los Angeles Superior Court from his wife of nearly nine years, Perla Ferrar, according to court records.
It was his second marriage and it’s his second divorce.
Slash is also known for his guitar play with band Velvet Revolver. His real name is Saul Hudson.
The filing states he and his wife separated in July and cites irreconcilable differences for the split.
The couple has two sons, ages 8 and 6.
Hudson is seeking joint custody of the children and asking a judge to determine how much spousal support he should pay.

The divorce filing was first reported by celebrity website TMZ.
“The breakup is extremely acrimonious,” a source told the site.
Slash released his first truly solo album in March and it reportedly has sold 60,000 copies.
It features appearances from three of the members of Appetite for Destruction-era Guns N’ Roses (Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan and Steven Adler), in addition to cameos by Fergie, Ozzy Osbourne, Chris Cornell, Lemmy and Dave Grohl.
