  • Musician Adrian Niles had just released his latest album Roll & Move, featuring the sublime single “Skylark,” when we last spoke with him. That was a year ago. Now his great songs being recognized, again.

Two will be featured next week in the F/X show “Justified,” which was just renewed for a fourth season. The episode, titled “Loose Ends,” stars Timothy Olyphant.

“Harden to Heal” and “Same Road” are both terrific blues-rock songs. The musician has been writing and producing for the last few years via his Adrian Niles Band.

It’s rather significant, I think, that TV has really been the first to pick up on his great sounds. Truth be told, he does write very cinematically; I can see his music being used for films as well.

Beth Wernick, of the L.A.-based company Imaginary Friends Music Partners, is responsible for the hookup with the show,” says Niles manager David Salidor.

“Wernick, who’s been a friend for years, heard this and immediately realized the possibilities. Our hats are off to her,” Salidor says.

Niles will soon announced an East Coast tour. “His music is terrific; right up there with The Black Keys and Dave Matthews. He’s going to be big and this ‘Justified’ exposure if proof positive,” says his PR man.
