  • Justin Bieber will be releasing his new single “Boyfriend” in less than 10 days and wants fans to pick the cover. He’s posted two choices on his Web site and fans can Tweet their favorite.

The cover with the most Tweets will go on the record.

The song will be delivered to radio March 26. Those who have heard it are giving it raves. Song producer, Mike Posner says it will mark a departure from the Bieb’s previous music.

“I have Bieber’s new single,” Posner said in a radio interview. “I wrote and produced that with him. And wait ’til you hear the beat; you’re going to flip.

“You’re going to want to play this song. Yes, it’s super hip-hop.”

“Boyfriend” is the lead single off the pop star’s highly anticipated album, Believe.

Posner said the 18-year-old superstar raps “a little eight bars” and offers some “crazy” singing afterward on the track. “That was our whole goal, was to make something that was hater-proof,” he added.

“All I’m saying … is wow … so much different than his previous music,” said Baltimore radio host Mick Lee. “The best way to describe it is a mix of Justin Timberlake ‘Sexy Back’ … ‘NSYNC ‘Girlfriend’ — And get this … he raps … best comparison is it sounds like ‘Wait’ by the Ying Yang Twins.”
