    Lorde Makes History: NYC Debut at Roseland Ballroom (video, photos)

    Lorde, the New Zealand pop sensation who stormed the charts last year with her hit song “Royals,” seemed a fitting opening act for the Roseland Ballroom’s final month as a concert venue. Lorde, 17, one of music’s hottest up-and-coming artists, made her New York City debut at the ballroom, making her one of the last acts in its 58-year history. Lady Gaga, a native New Yorker, will close out the venue with seven shows, starting March 28 through April 7....
