Selena Gomez works it on he X-Factor stage last night with an energetic performance of ‘Slow Down.’
The 21-year-old singer has been on the road promoting her new album through her “Stars Dance” tour.
After the 65-show tour, her fourth in support of an album, runs into next year. When she hit the road in April, Selena said she would focus on dancing like the old Britney Spears and Janet Jackson shows.
“I kind of missed shows when it used to just be about the dancing and the performing as opposed to how big and elaborate the stage is so I kind of want to get back to that,” she said at the time in an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
Selena has also talked about sidelining her music career for awhile so she can concentrate more on acting. So, this tour may be her last for a while.
Her appearance on the show gave her a chance to catch up with BFF and fellow performer Demi Lovato, who is back on the show as a judge.
Selena showed she was a trouper. She was originally scheduled to perform last week, but a voting snafu forced changes in the program and her appearance had to be delayed.
