Gwen Stefani is still no hollaback girl after all these years, but she can still belt out a tune. She sang her classic song and some new tunes from her latest album on the “Today” show this morning (July 15) and talked about how much she thrives on touring.
Stefani, who is now 46, is undergoing a career resurgence.
She just released her third solo studio album This Is What the Truth Feels Like and is currently touring in support of the album.
Two of the songs she sang, “Misery,” and “Make Me Like You,” are off the No. 1 album. Released in March, the set was inspired by the breakup of her marriage to Gavin Rossdale and her new love Blake Shelton.

The album’s themes–betrayal, disappointment and falling in love again–seem to have resonated with fans. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
After giving birth to three children, the last in 2014, Stefani has been waging a career comeback. She landed a spot as a temporary judge on the NBC show “The Voice,” which elevated her profile even more.
Stefani launched her “This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour” this week and was effusive about being on the road again.
“To be, actually, out on tour now is just another level of something I never expected,” she told the Today show crew, Matt Lauer, Carson Daly and Savannah Guthrie. “I’m starving to be on tour.”
In addition to her new material, Stefani also sang two oldies, “Sweet Escape” and Hollaback Girl.”
