Taylor Swift may be everywhere with her music, but she’s yet to pass this landmark–2 billion Apple Music streams. That honor belongs to… Rihanna! The “Diamonds” singer has become the first female artist to achieve that goal. She hit it over the weekend.
She crowed about it on social media. She posted a meme of a child dancing for joy and quipped “when I found out that I was the first female artist to cross 2 billion worldwide streams on Apple Music!”
“God is too lit!!!!” she added.
But that’s not all. Last month, Rihanna beaome the first-ever artist to earn eight No. 1 songs from one album on Billboard’s Dance Club Song chart.
“Anti” was first launched in 2016, but it’s still making waves in the music industry, and “Consideration” soared to the top of the charts to make history.
“Anti’s” record-breaking run actually began back on April 23, 2016, when “Work” went to the summit, according to the chart keeper.
