Zayn Malik, the former One Direction boybander, has been more of a tabloid darling than a singer lately. But he’s put all the headlines behind him, following his breakup with model Gigi Hadid and released a new video for “Let Me,” a sexy song about hooking up with a woman.

Malik, 25, posted the video this morning (Apr. 12). He’s definitely back on the market, with both an upcoming album and likely a new relationship.

He’s coming off the success of his 2016 debut solo album Mind of Mine. It topped both UK and U.S. album charts.

There was a hint in the video that Malik may not be totally over Hadid. His love interest strongly resembled the fetching model. The video closes with the message: “To Be Continued.”

Hmmm… somebody better clue in Gigi.

His other breakup–from One Direction–was also clearly on his mind.

“I think my confidence has grown,” he told Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw this morning in the UK. He explained:

“The last year and a half I’ve been working on a lot of personal issues. Me leaving the band and I didn’t know what I wanted. I released the album but I wasn’t being prominent as I wanted to be. I’m a lot more confident now and I’m looking forward to the fans hearing it.”
