  • Madonna is two for two when it comes to songs leaking on the Internet. A snippet of “I’m Addicted,” another single from her upcoming album, M.D.N.A, went viral today (Mar. 6). It’s got a heavy techno-dance beat.

The first song off the album, “Give Me All Your Luvin'” went viral in November before it was completely finished, and the Material Girl was said to be “very upset,” according to her manager.

This time around, the leaks may be slightly more contrived. Gossip monger PerezHilton reported that he had the whole album and would be leaking songs up until the release date Mar. 27.

The release, however, is just a teaser, not the whole song.

Madonna, who is a master of marketing, may have learned a lesson from the leak of her first song. She could be leaking snippets on purpose to build up interest in the full album.

In addition to the leaks, lyrics from two other songs leaked onto the Internet yesterday. Ex-husband Guy Ritchie appeared to be the subject of the songs, “I Don’t Give A” and “Bang Bang.”

Madonna told a British interviewer last December that the release would depend on “how quickly people hack in to my server and leak it. Can people wait? It’s terrible.”

    Is she crying crocodile tears?

Her 12th studio album is the first release since Madonna left Warner Bros to join Live Nation. It will also be her first studio album since 2008’s Hard Candy, which debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. pop charts.
