  • The Jonas Brothers are following a formula perfected by Taylor Swift… maybe. The set off a Internet buzz after one of the songs played last night in New York City sparked rumors it was about Miley Cyrus. Or, Maybe not.

Swift is notorious about writing not-so-flattering songs about relationships that result in bad breakups, including Joe Jonas..

The 23-year-old singer dated Swift from July to October 2008 and blew her off with a telephone call after hooking up with actress Camilla Belle. Swift supposedly wrote songs “Forever and Always,” “Last Kiss” and “Better than Revenge” based on the breakup.

Younger brother Nick Jonas, 20, dated Cyrus from June 2006 to December 2007. Cyrus has often claimed Nick is her first love. When he dumped her, Miley said she cried for a month, and has said they remain good friends.

But that was before she met Australian Liam Hemsworth. The two are engaged to be married and the song could be a plea to Miley not to go forward with the nuptials.

The band played the song, “Wedding Bells,” at a Radio City Music Hall concert, their first in two years, and immediately touched of speculation about Miley. They declared a hiatus in 2010 to pursue solo careers.
