  • kesha-cmonKe$ha‘s latest video for her new song “C’Mon,” features the pop star in wild party mode. That means she back to smashing things with a baseball bat, vandalism, breaking-and-entering and other usual Saturday night stuff.

The song is the second single off her upcoming album Warrior, which has already created controversy because of the insipid reaction to her first single “Die Young.”

In the wake of the Newtown, Conn. massacre a number of radio stations stopped playing the song because it somehow became a lightning rod for artistic excess. Of course, nothing in the song connected it in any way to mass shootings.

In fact, the video for “C’mon” does far more to incite violence. The video opens with Ke$ha, 25, working a deadend job as a waitress in a greasy spoon restaurant. She quits on her abusive boss, steps outside, climbs into a magical van and is transformed into a party girl.

She goes to town on the local “messy mart” with a baseball bat, escorted by a bunch of furry friends. It’s all about staying up, partying the night away and living for the moment, a common refrain in most of her songs.

“ANIMALS!!! C’MON!!! get furry!!!” she wrote on her Twitter account.
