Mariah Carey and Miguel appear together in a behind-the-scenes video of their video for Beautiful.
The video was posted today (June 13) on Facebook. Carey clearly throws her weight around, but in a fairly nice way.
She doesn’t bitch or scream, but then, she doesn’t have to. No one disagrees with her, during the segments show on the clip.
Singer Miguel Jontel Pimentel, who performs using only his first name, opens the video with a quick introduction. The video features Miguel and Mariah on a motorcycle together, which Miguel calls “amazing.”
He calls Mariah a “very, very special individual and a light.” Mariah also heaps praise on him, calling Miguel a “super-duper star.”
She gets nothing but praise when she talks about her floor-length robe she’s wearing to cover up between takes. A stage hand nods agreeably. “I love it he says,”
Mariah gets a little testy over one scene in which she’s sitting in the backseat of a car. “Last time I checked, we need to cover this frontally,” she advises stressing each syllable.
“Question!” she interjects. “Why would you want me to lie in the dirt and filth? But why,” she continues slapping her hands to add emphasis, “would you want me to lie in the dirt and filth and horse dung.”
Ewww…! Maybe she has a point there.
