Chris Brown gets reflective in a new video for his song “How I Feel” using the ultimate status symbol, a private jet, as the video’s backdrop.
The song touches on all of the events in his life that have shaped him, including his 2009 beat down of then girlfriend Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards.
Brown, 22, visual approach to the song is less than apologetic. In the video, he scrambles on board the mult-million dollar jet and sits alone as it lifts off and heads for the horizon.
He looks at his life from the point of view of a mega-successful individual, regretting, perhaps, some of the things he’s done to climb out of poverty. But the setting for the video clearly suggests the end justifies the means.
He’s been the object of scorn ever since the brutally assault and caused an uproar when it appeared as though he may be getting back with the Barbadian singer earlier this year.
Brown also released a new song called “Sweet Love.” He asks flirtatiously for ladies to “get naked… just so we can make sweet love.”
Brown’s new album Fortune will be released May 8. “Turn Up the Music,” the first single was remixed with additional lines from Rihanna.
