    Jamie Foxx headlined the The Prostate Cancer Foundation’s (PCF) 2019 New York Dinner at Restaurant Daniel in Manhattan.

    The evening, Dinner at Daniel also included a performance by master mentalist Lior Suchard and raised more than $5 million for research.

    The Nuveau French restaurant, at 60 East 65th Street (between Madison and Park Aves), is owned and run by French celebrity chef Daniel Boulud.

    The evening started with a cocktail hour before guests were escorted to the main dining room for the dinner and entertainment.

    Financier Michael Milken welcomed guests and started the main portion of the evening with trivia questions.

    Milken spoke about PCF’s partnership with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and advances by researchers and scientists.

    Master Mentalist Suchard performed several stunning illusions.

    The evening ended with a stellar performance by Academy Award Winning Artist Jamie Foxx.

    Although best known as an actor, Foxx is also a Grammy Award-winning musician. He’s released four albums, which have charted in the top ten on album charts.

    He put his musical talents on display in the 2004 biographical film “Ray,” about the life of rhythm and blues musician Ray Charles.

    For his role, Foxx won best actor awards from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars) and the Golden Globes.

    The charitable organization founded by Milken is dedicated to identifying and funding groundbreaking cancer research programs.

    The memorable evening welcomed leaders in medicine, top research scientists and distinguished New York City socialites to explore refined European cuisines, world-class wines.

    PCF’s Board of Directors includes business leaders such as Michael Milken, Lori Milken, Andrew J. Astrachan, James C. Blair PhD, Steven A. Burd, Peter T. Grauer, The Honorable Earle I. Mack, Neal I. Rodin, Andrew C. von Eschenbach, MD; Drew Pinsky, MD, and radio and television host Clark Howard.
