Laura Prepon, star of the hit series “Orange is the New Black,” highlighted Bella magazine’s Summer White Party over the weekend at the Southampton Inn in Southampton, N.Y. The magazine celebrated its summer Hamptons issue. Laura was joined by New York Housewife LuAnn De Leseps, soap opera star Lois Robbins, animal activist and entrepreneur Wendy Diamond and more than 300 other guests. Maggie Gyllenhaal, who stars in the BBC spy thriller television miniseries “The Honourable Woman,” was on hand for a screening of the show in New York City hosted by The Cinema Society, Tod’s and Elle magazine. Jill Zarin, one of the originals of the hit Bravo reality show, “Real Housewives of New York,” hosted her second Luxury Ladies Luncheon at her Hamptons house over the weekend. The theme was to drink, shop and dine for a charitable cause. Zarin, who appeared on the first four seasons of the show, used the event to raise money for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. George Lucas Joins Celebration of Apollo Theater’s 80th Anniversary

George Lucas and Mellody Hobson were among the high-profile guests at the Apollo Spring Gala and 80th Anniversary Celebration in New York City last night (June 10).
