Taylor Swift talks about her relationships in the latest edition of Glamour UK.
In a revealing interview with the UK edition of Glamour,” the serial dater reveals that she’s never “had a perfect fit with someone.”
The 23-year-old singer has had serious and not so serious relationships with musician Joe Jonas, actor Taylor Lautner, singer-songwriter John Mayer, actor Jake Gyllenhaal, Kennedy scion Conor Kennedy and One Direction band member Harry Styles. Whew!
And still no fit? Apparently so. Swift says she’s single now after her stormy breakup with Styles. “Right now is easy because I’m single and happy, and it’s very relaxing,” she explains.

Swift is known for her relationship songs based on her dating experience. But she’s not sure she could handle the ultimate break-up reason, cheating.
“I’ve seen my friends take someone back after they’ve cheated because they fit perfectly. But I don’t know, because I’ve never had a perfect fit with someone.”
She also has some definite opinions about dating celebrities and the problem with tabloid rumor mongering.
“You can say, ‘I’m never gonna’ date a high-profile person in the arts.’ But whoever I date, famous or not, whether I ever date again, all chaos will break loose. With fabrication and frantic obsession and who likes who more and who ended it,” she says.
Swift, who is often lauded as a role model, says there is more to it than “standing on top of a mountain with the wind blowing in your hair, looking fabulous.”
“If I can say, ‘Yeah, I’ve taken a few hits over the years and I’m still going, I’m still happy’ maybe that’s an example.” she explains.
Swift just wrapped up the North American leg of her Red Tour and is planning to extend her latest trek to Europe. She made the announcement in a new video.
